Orthocomotis shuara Razowski , Pelz & Wojtusiak, 2007

Type locality: Ecuador, Morona-Santiago-Prov., Macas, Proaño Inapula, CREA-Domono, 1100 m.

Holotype: CVPR. male. GS 893-V.P. 23-26.III.1998. leg. Volker Pelz.

Etymology

The species is named for the Shuar Indians who live in the region around Macas. It is defined as a noun in apposition.
